KKR vs SRH Highlights, IPL 2020 Updates: Shubhman Gill and Patt Cummins led Kolkata Knight Riders for a magnificent win over Sunrisers Hyderabad by 7 wickets at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi, on Saturday. Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and decided to bat first, however, the plan backfired.
Patt Cummins, who did not have a good match against Mumbai Indians, executed his plans perfectly that led to a major jolt for Orange Army as Jonny Bairstow was bowled out on 5 runs. Cummins, in his 4 overs, gave only 19 runs and claimed one wicket as well.
All eyes were on David Warner as was set on the crease but couldn’t click the ball and went back to the pavilion after scoring 36 runs off 30 balls. Similarly, Wriddhiman Saha scored 30 runs off 31 balls.
On the other hand, Manish Pandey scored a half-century as he scored 51 runs off 38 balls. Sunrisers Hyderabad managed to score 142 runs after losing 4 wickets.
Chasing 143, Shubhman Gill and Sunil Narine came to the crease.
Sunil Narine, the trump card, failed to show some fireworks as he was dismissed on a duck. Shubhman Gill and Nitish Rana made a good partnership but Rana was caught behind the stumps after scoring 26 off 12 balls.
KKR’s skipper Dinesh Karthik was trapped by the mystery bowler Rashid Khan, as he was also dismissed without scoring a run.
Eoin Morgan and Shubhman Gill played unbeatable innings of 40 and 70 runs, respectively, as Kolkata Knight Riders registered the first victory in the Indian Premier League 2020.
